Earwax "is a yellowish waxy substance secreted in the ear canal of humans and other mammals (Wikipedia-Earwax)." It's technical name is cerumen. Earwax is a Natural Choice because of the critical role it plays in protecting our bodies.
Many people have the habit of using a cotton swap to regularly remove their earwax. Such a practice is not natural, it is preventing an important defense the body has to protect the ear.
Wikipedia says that earwax "protects the skin of the human ear canal, assists in cleaning and lubrication, and also provides some protection from bacteria, fungi, insects and water (Wikipedia-Earwax)."
Despite it's value earwax is often routinely removed.
"Unfortunately, many people mistakenly believe that earwax should be routinely removed for personal hygiene. This is not so. In fact, attempting to remove Earwax with cotton-tipped swabs, bobby pins, or other probing devices can result in damage to the ear, including trauma, impaction of the Earwax, or even temporary deafness. These objects only push the wax in deeper, and can block the ear canal entirely (As Quoted in Secretion Secrets: Things You Didn't Know About Earwax (Dr. Mercola, March 29, 2014)."The following are some articles that provide further elaboration on the importance of adopting the natural lifestyle of leaving one's earwax alone.
